Victorinox has been supplying issue pocket knives to the Swiss Army since 1891. This is the currently issued model which has been around since 2008 and is only the third model developed for the Swiss Army. Below you can see the precious two models. The 2008 edition features a main blade, saw, can opener with integrated screwdriver blade, bottle opener with integrated screwdriver blade, awl, Philips screwdriver and lanyard ring.

Victor inbox has introduced camouflage as an option for many of their pocket knives. They have both the woodlandesque pattern seen here as well as a desert digital for some models.

Victorinox Soldier

The Swiss have only updated their issue pocket knife four times in 117 years. For this latest go around, seven firms provided candidates but Victorinox won with the Soldier.

Victorinox Soldier

The Soldier features a One-Hand Serrated Locking Blade, Phillips Screwdriver, Can Opener, Small Screwdriver, Bottle Opener, Large Locking Screwdriver, Wire Stripper, Reamer, Key Ring, and Wood Saw.
