One of the coolest things I saw at last week’s ADS Warrior Expo West was Safariland’s Model 71 Injection Molded Single Magazine Pouch. Sized to fit up to a 1.75″ belt the flexible “accordion†design accepts almost any single or double stack magazine as well as flashlights, knives, and multi-tools. Despite its open top, the material and design work together for positive retention. Right now they are only available in Black but I saw prototypes of a Tan version and there is talk of offering the pouch in a MOLLE compatible version as well. Simple, yet versatile. I can’t wait to get my hands on some.
