I would like to see some UV protection shirts, with wicking capability.

  2. Whokka says:

    Based on awesome climbing gear…
I’d love to see, an Arcteryx stab at a dump/SSE pouch ( a big Chalk bag at least… they rock!) in MC obviously!
    and
A heavy weight Harness/ belt to compliment the inbound H150 wich has quick fit legs straps to turn into a harness… a bit like the CTOMs M harness! but Arcteryx!!

  3. Whokka says:

Now I think about it some more…
a goretex MC boonie so you can have your hood down when it pours down

A teather to work with the H150 belt ( I’m so excited about this belt a bit of wee came out!!)

and a modular Battle bag… I have a design for you, for a price!!

    Cheers
    Vince

  4. LF says:

Fire resistant gauntlets, with padding protection and detachable carbon knuckles, very “grippy” palm, elastic on the wrist and velcro on the forearm to adjust them over the armpits of the uniform. Perfect for breaching with quicksaws, shotguns, etc.

  5. Nick says:

Id really like to see some jackets with hoods that store into the shoulder/ back area. For most uses having a hood just obscures vision and hearing and having the hood store in the collar makes it very bulky and stand up .

  6. Yenner says:

I love a good hoodie, but I’m a big, hairy, sweaty dude.

I’d love something that gives me pockets, a hood, and some UV/wind protection without cooking my hairy ass to death.

  7. Julio says:

I love everything Arc’teryx your current line of leaf products are exactly what i’m looking for with the exception of the Alpha LT Jacket. I have no issue with the jacket’s quality I would only like the addition of velcro patches on either side and pocket on the shoulder and sleeves to accommodate a plate carrier real-estate in the front.

  8. edgar ripoll says:

I would love if ARC’TERYX produced an extremely light yet durable pair of mountain/hiking boots. Something that could tackle not only the terrain but the climate in Afghanistan some others have come close but i still await that nail in the coffin that gets it just right.

  9. BruceWayne says:

A line of clothing for domestic low profile law enforcement (example sweathshirts and jackets that can actually conceal a firearm; in other words not tight Euro cut).

    FR Tau Pullover

Hooded MC Jacket lined with FR fleece.

    More FR products in general.

    MC Boots.

With regards to mens underwear…put a fly on them!

  10. Mark says:

I would LOVE pants with an elastic expanding strap built into the waistband so that I can carry more comfortably IWB and when I’m not my pants are actually the proper size. I’m not too fond of the “scrunchy” looking design on the waistband of EOTAC/Woolrich design. I do however like how the 5.11 covert khakis expand with a strap of sorts similar to many golf pants. Since Arc’Teryx pants tend to run on the trim side (I like this) I don’t want to sacrifice my cut and look in order to buy one with a waistband that will comfortably fit my holster. These pants would also be attractive to those who are between sizes or gain/lose a pound or two after purchase.

If anyone could make this style of waistband look slick it’s Arc’Teryx

  11. WB says:

Merino wool t-shirt, but its perfect for keeping a comfortable core when temps aren’t too cold. That and an ultra-light SSE pouch.

  12. Daniel says:

Let’s see some Arcy daypack sized assault packs for LEO/MIL everyday short range asskicking!

  13. Greg says:

I would like to see some some truly useable everyday cargo-ish pants. Vertex came close.. but i find they lack a bit in the fit dept, and that nutty pocket zipper interferes w/ my EDC knife. They fade too. Please fill this hole!

  14. Alexander says:

I want to see Arc’teryx bring their climbing harness knowledge into the LBE market! Maybe it’s a stretch, but I have no doubt the products would be very innovative. Also, I think the LEAF line needs tom incorporate more items from the civilian line.

  15. Loo says:

I’d like to see some fire resistant gloves that has good dexterity.

  16. mountainman says:

More FR gear and a line of pants and tops that can pass as more generic civilian clothes yet have the same high performance level as current products. Also, More color options such as OD green and maybe even ATACS?? 😀

  17. Vincent says:

Would definitely love to see a good pair of boots. If anyone could make some lightweight, durable, waterproof, and most of all comfortable boots it would be Arc’teryx.

  18. Alexander says:

FR products. I agree with producing more low profile wear for sordid/range use. I like the sphinx halfshell. I’d like to see similar products in a more budget friendly option. Your Bad Ass Ballcap is a litke too basses for my budget. This is the kit I drool over….one day my friends…one day.

  19. Mike K. says:

I would like to see a clothing line targeted for law enforcement. The clothing line would have to be affordable and durable. Fire-resistant, moisture wicking. Pockets without loud velcro would be great = silent zippers.

oh…and a sweet cap to along with all of that.

    🙂

  20. BertiA. says:

Hiking cloth with same military engineered, for example a good cargo shorts. Summer is Coming!!!
    Cheers from Canada. Great Site!!

  21. JSGlock34 says:

I’d like to see an Arc’teryx LEAF take on a lightweight EDC backpack/daypack.

  22. Tate says:

What I would like to see from Arc’teryx LEAF is a clothing system designed like our current US Armed Forces uniform, yet looking civilian like. I would call it “Metro Tactical”. These clothes would take the pros of our DoD uniforms and incorporate the civilian look to them. The clothing would resemble the business causal look, yet be functional for our SOF operators. I would like the functionality of a shooter, but not the usual FBI 5-11 look. The clothing needs be moister wicking and can be layered if I go from Florida to Washington. I just don’t want to look like the average dude on the range.

  23. Marmatt says:

As others have said: Gloves! Like everything else the dead bird does, simple, clean, great fit and function. Maybe a minimalist (lighter) index/trigger finger?

Bring back the Charlie (Marine ILBE 3 Day assault pack)! and a lighter, cleaner, day and a 1/2 assault pack. Less book-baggish than the Blades, less over-the-top tech than TAD.

    Thanks!

    -Matt

  24. Marmatt says:

    Tate!

Check out Arc’teryx Veilance. It’s Arcteryx meets Brooks Brothers.

Now just make Brooks Brothers meet GI Joe…

    -Matt

  25. Thierry says:

    +1 for the EDC pack

Also +1 for the assault pack, but I would add that it should have the possibility to integrate with plate carriers without having the straps piling up on the shoulders (but could still be worn alone when needed)

Blast belt/harness combo, with stow-away leg straps (and possibly Cobra buckles for the leg straps)

A simple thing too: waterproof covers for your current pack offerings in Coyote (or Crocodile), Ranger green, White (Snow MARPAT would be even better) and of course Multicam.
They should be reinforced on the bottom so they don’t wear out too quick, and an opening at the top for radio antennas.

  26. Kyle says:

I’d like to see them develop some gear for LEAF not just the clothing/climbing items.

  27. John B says:

I would like to see pants with a kevlar lining similar to the Blast Boxers. We are starting to see car bombs in Mexico and I am sure it will move north. The frag protection with one less layer for those hot summer days.

    Thanks.

  28. JonnyRotten says:

Show a little love to Olive Drab. A few more merino wool options (socks + drawers) would be nice, too. And anything in ATACS would be propper.

    And more cowbell.

  29. Steve says:

I really want to see an Arcteryx Plate Carrier and Battle belt. That would be outstanding. As much as it sounds weird, I’d love to see some other pack designs (24 hour and 2 day packs), as well as an over the shoulder bag/messenger bag designed for operators.

I still use an MC Charlie pack all the time. One of the best small packs I’ve ever owned.

    Holster system. Please. Molle compatible.

  30. Paul says:

I’d like to see some 1st and 2nd layer clothing – fleece and merino wool hoodies, technical short and long sleeve shirts, and base layers ala Smartwool but done the Arcteryx way!

Maybe venture into the 2nd line realm of armor carriers and warbelts…I can guarantee Arcteryx could develop some kick ass gear!

  31. Shane says:

Love the neck gaitor and knee caps, would like to see these in coyote/crocodile colorways. “Shooting” gloves with no palm padding and reinforced back.

  32. Justin says:

I think Arc’teryx should add some technical socks to their line up. They have great fabrics at their disposal and could probably make some great moisture wicking socks for various climates.

  33. Thomas says:

More FR clothing in OD, even in hi-viz colours for resque operations (I know RNoAF Resque Swimmers will sell their soul for this). Sivilian cargo pants.

  34. Canuck says:

Thomas – really good point. There is a huge lack of quality high-viz gear and not only for RNoAF but also USCG, Sheriff departements and volunteer SAR groups (and the same applies around the world for Canadian Forces Rescue Squadrons, SERABEC, etc…)

  35. Definitely time for some shooting gloves. Stitched with a removeable trigger finger?

  36. benny says:

Tactical gloves, boots and eye protection

  37. mibz says:

I’d like to see some fire resistant gloves that has good dexterity too.

  38. Egor says:

    hoody or combat pants

  39. Daniel says:

I would like to see them produce a FR Combat uniform. They do everything else so well I am sure they make a sick Combat uniform.

  40. Michael says:

Can’t help but agree with others here, I’d love to see a cadpat uniform,
as well as economy gear and also a chestrig etc.

  41. Will says:

Bring back the Charlie pack or something assault pack sized. (lets get it in brown or MC!)

    Long sizes (34 long)………

  42. snakedoc says:

I would like to see the jackets with removable hood and high collar, and more of their gear in crocodile, this color is awesome!

  43. Manny says:

I would like to see some light duty gloves. I also like the idea someone else posted about having the hoods stow in the shoulder area instead of the collar.

  44. Jodie Phipps says:

    light weight glove.

    CCW pant?

  45. Adam says:

I’d like to see fall/winter caps in the colors that the services currently use, without an exterior logo so we could actually wear them. Arc’teryx has many other products that you can get away with but currently you’re stuck with some lack luster AAFES fleece caps.

  46. Showtime says:

    Simple enough…
    A multicam poncho.

Also a shell jacket to go over my body armor. One that gives you access to your kit and is easy to remove.

If Arc’teryx makes it, I know they’ll think of everything else.

That’s it. Some rain gear, water is heavy. 😉

  47. David welby says:

I would like to see a hiking variant on a tac vest, something low profile enough to not look too tactical but functional at the same time for carrying essential gear

  48. Mac says:

More FR/no melt-drip. More coyote items or soild color, makes the piece more dual use. If I am going to spend the money I want to be able to use it as much as possible.

  49. Connor says:

I would like to see a few items come out from Arcteryx, here are the two that I would like to see the most.

    1) Trigger mitts, take the Alpha Glove and add a trigger finger, used to see these all the time but they have gone the wayside, I hung on to my old issue ones but they are getting pretty worn. A nice gore-tex pair would be awesome for extreme cold.

    2) Belt loops and a bigger cargo pocket on the Alpha Pants, Belt loops would allow for all kinds of accessories (holsters, mags, knives, etc.) while not great for all mountain I think for a military/law enforcement application it would be good. A slightly bigger pocket, not huge though.

  50. Chris says:

FR balaclava in multicam, or a merino wool one.
