Tactical Concealment Jacket from the GlockStore.com

GlockStore.com has just introduced the Tactical Concealed Carry. It features 7 pockets including handwarmer and bicep pockets with pile for ID as well as 2 internal chest mounted concealment pockets. The concealment pockets are built into the jacket and have a velro lining that accepts the velcro holster and magazine carriers or other accessories. One handgun holster is included with the jacket. These pockets are large enough to accommodate a full-size 1911 or Glock 21. The velcro holster and accessories are adjustable for ride within the concealment pocket so you can position and support your gear as needed. Additionally, the gun does not print or make the jacket sag.

The jacket is made from a water repellant, 100% polyester 4-way stretch fabric. Available in Black or Coyote sizes Medium – XXX-Large.

Nothing says “concealment” like a coyote softshell with velcro sleeves!

Now Jon, you know this isn’t for you.

I want someone to make a concealment garment out of a DC shoes hoody or a Carhartt jacket…

Jon, back in the high school days I worked in a rap/Hip Hop retail store. There is a French company who made “Urban Clothing” with idem pouches and elastics, it is promoted as a “professional gangsta” (yeah, I hate the term too) and in the pictures it showed how a handgun and a couple mags can be hide but still accessible.

Heck, they even have a mask attached to the hoody to cover the face!

    • Casey says:

Agreed. My “Tactical Concealment Jacket” is from The North Face.

    • Mark says:

I have to second this. Companies make these “urban tactical” jackets and ALWAYS slap a Velcro patch pad on the arm.

Honestly…has anyone had the desire to wear their blood type or unit patch during their night on the town?

It also screams to anyone who is mildly observant you are the person most likely in the room/on the street to have a gun. The sight of this jacket alone is probably enough to make an officer unbutton his holster if he ever has a reason to approach you.

Good thing they rolled out their jacket just in time for summer.

Went to the site link – that has got to be the slowest site on the Internet. Even trying to look at the alternate photos took full-page reloads at dial-up refresh speeds – and I’m running over 15MBPS download right now.

  4. Aj says:

you know this looks like the condor softshell phantom jacket…

  5. Flapjack says:

I had to watch it with the sound off, did he explain why they used color matched zippers on the outside, but used Black zippers to highlight the “secret” compartment? Please tell me that wasn’t just to shield me from shock when he plucked a gun out of nowhere.

  6. Tim L. says:

The fact that it doesn’t sag or print is nice, but I agree with the other comments. With the color and velcro it does scream “tactical”, and yes I know that’s in the products name, but it would be more practical if it was offered in non-tactical colors without velcro on the sleeves.

  7. JDT says:

I like how he finally does his press check to make sure it’s unloaded at 3:57 after spending four minutes flagging the camera. Also, where is his “Infidel” patch?

This reminds me of the supposed “low profile” stuff that 5.11 sells. I love the “hide your CCW” function, but so much of this jacket, the 5.11 stuff, and products from a few other companies scream out THIS IS TACTICAL almost as loudly as wearing a badge on the chest.
