Can’t wait to have that belt with a couple of “Assault Straps”. Ben and Mike did it again.
Seriously. this is one of the best “tactical” packs that I ever seen….
I´m really impressed that a tactical manufacturer bring to market one desing similar to other packs that first quality outdoor brands had selling since nineties for less than 80 dollars (the new belt design is the real innovation)
But…. 400$ for a daypack… ¡¡¡ ouch!!!
Belt that allows easy and transition from carrying a pack to fighting; cable/tube routing shoulder straps; integrated assault strap; designed to be hauled or hang from vehicles;… commercial packs that have anything similar mines the factor of keeping a battle belt when ditching the pack are more in thr 300$ range. And other tactical backpacs are over 800$.
IMHO is a good bang for the buck.
Well, if you want to pay $80 for something that’s made in China, be my guest. If you want to buy something with all the technical features of this pack that’s actually made in America you go to High Ground.
Thing is, not everybody can afford or needs a $300+ backpack. If I had the cash to spare and was planning on going overseas on deployment or something like that then hands down I’d pay the $300, but for casual use for hiking or the occasional camping trip at a campground then $300 is way overkill as nice as the pack might be. For that I’m going with the $80 made in China special provided that it’s not going to fall apart on me because I stuffed one too many things in it or because I looked at it wrong.
I really like this design and how it integrates with body armor. I wonder if they know that they are violating two patents though…
