Remember the Tigerstripe Flightsuit from “Flight of the Intruder?”

An EA-6B squadron worked with Suits USA, makers of commercial FR flight apparel to manufacture a NOMEX CWU-27/P equivalent flight suit in Viet Nam Tigerstripe. The long pole in this tent is printing on Nomex but TenCate has perfected a patented process to do just that. The stars aligned and here you go.

Dude! I totally said those exact two things to a guy today when he asked what the coolest thing at SOFIC was. He was unimpressed with “Flight.” so I hit him with the phantom. He still didn’t budge.

Good movie. I remember that suit, I though it was pretty cool and that William DeFoe was badass!

I am wearing my sage green in the ready room as I type this, and I just went from 6 to midnight looking at this bad boy, hopefully more fleet skippers will be one board with this idea, as it sure beats the Desert Storm issue of being the only green thing in the desert!
