I actually own a set of the SAF cammies and I must say the pattern works really well for the jungle environment that is so prevalent in the non-urban areas of Singapore. The only issue that really came up in my mind is that its so breathable and thin that I dont know how well it would stand up in actual field conditions. Its much thinner than normal NYCO ripstop which I’m sure is great to wear around base but i’m not sure what would happen if they needed to wear it in a combat environment. Granted having worn my navy aquaflage in the summer heat in Singapore i can say that, if i were them, i’d be pissed if they switched to a thicker fabric.

Don’t they even teach journalism anymore?? Nice fact gathering…. With all the money the Army is spending on Reset – I doubt that they will admit failure over the UCP.

Here’s hoping that Multicam becomes more and more accepted!!!
