NBC’s ‘Stars Earn Stripes’ to Feature Top Tactical Brands

The upcoming NBC reality show ‘Stars Earn Stripes’ pairs 8 stars with trainers from military and LE backgrounds. Each episode will be a separate mission and the participants will be outfitted with some excellent tactical brands. For example, in this promotional video you can see TCI headsets paired with Ops-Core FAST helmets and FirstSpear covers. What else can you identify?

Stars Earn Stripes debuts Monday August 13th after the Olympics on NBC.

I think this is a sort of mockery of the war on terror. Has a sense of degrading the real heroes and ones protecting our nation.

  2. AttackBlue1 says:

    Holy shit.

  3. Fred says:

C’mon Terry Crews, you can do best! You did ”expendables” haha.

  4. Kaos 1 says:

NBC ???? Wtf.. It is now time to get the e-tool out , head out to the hills with your e-tool and did a fighting position. Lmao

  5. Jack says:

Even if I had TV I would make it a point to miss this tripe.

  6. Matt says:

Is the producer guy wearing the American flag as a scarf…?

  7. Zach says:

I think I’m gonna watch it just for the pure fun in laughing my ass off.

  8. Erin O'Neill says:

Umm…(thinking hard about professional response): Fuck that. Stars, being people that seek limelight, are paid to be pretty. Warfighters, either win wars, or go Hollywood. They don’t mix well. And frankly, I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth about the whole topic. This isn’t a game, this isn’t TV, or “Survivor”. A shit load of this generation’s finest are dead. The country has been at war for a decade. That’s cause for a game show?

As long as everyone realizes its entertainment what’s the big deal? Besides it gives retired/current Soldiers/LEO’s jobs. If it doesn’t violate Opsec or anything else sensitive who cares. With all the hate soldiers/LEO’s get from this the Obama loving press and entertainment industry about time those of us who serve get some positive coverage!

  10. CTO says:

Keep in mind that the missions they successfully accomplish win money for veteran charities.

When will NBC debut “Ow my balls”? From the looks of this, we’re close.

Anyone who doesn’t see how terrifying this is please watch “Idiocracy” or “God Bless America” for a total attitude adjustment.

    • Buckaroomedic says:

      What Mike said . . .

      • Vanny says:

Yup, I agree also with Mike. But “Ow my balls” or “The Ass Channel” would be much more entertaining. This is just scary. Maybe funded by republicans or the NRA? Just in time for elections!

  12. Sofic says:

It looks to me their armor is ballistic insert free. For some of the ‘running and gunning’ Put in the inserts and plates/combat load and see how it really feels.

  13. CPT Dan says:

Maybe if they cut off a finger of each task’s losers, I’ll give a crap about the “hardship” these stars are going through. Until then, none of them have any skin in the game.
