    I am no expert on 3D printing so this is pure speculation but wouldn’t that plastic composite over heat and warp and distort in extreme tests? So printing a barrel, upper firing pin, and all the rest of the goodies wouldn’t work, correct?

      You are thinking prolonged use. There was already a movie where an assassin printed manufactured a limited use zip gun weapon. The movie was “Line of Fire.”
