Arc’teryx has a bevy of new products but one of the standouts is the Mattock Drysock LT. It relies on the same printed Gore fabric as the Alpha Jacket so your feet will stay dry but breath. They are tall enough that they will keep you dry almost up to your knee. Available in MultiCam and Crocodile the Mattock is offered in sizes XSmall – XXLarge.

Estimated MSRP?
I just checked the Arcteryx LEAf site. They are listed at $139.00 for the “Crocodile” color and $169.00 for Multicam.
Arc’teryx rocks! Great products
Meh…these don’t look that different from the Gore-Tex socks that the Canadian Army started issuingin the mid-90s.
You can pick them up at your average army Surplus store in Canada for around $20 bucks
i.e. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Canadian-Military-GORETEX-Waterproof-Socks-Boot-Liner-Size-14-Mustang-/271135796435?pt=US_Men_s_Socks&hash=item3f20f3ecd3
They were nice and high so if you stepped in a deep puddle, you wouldn’t have water come over the top into them.
However there is a major problem with them: because they’re a non-stretch fabric, they bunch up around your foot and if you have to do alot of walking, can result in some nasty hotspots.
I like the ALPHA LT in Wolf. Tasty.
Tried it on my left foot the whole day, while walking around at SHOT show. At first when I saw it, I was sceptic, but its actually not that bad. I used it with my Quest 4D GTX, and I really didnt feel that much difference between my right and left foot. When i came back to the hotel and took it of theres was virtually no difference between my feet, moisture-wise.
Cant wait to try it on, in the field.

@Levesque True that. I would like to try them by what BirkAK is saying. It’s a huge game changer in that case.
But the thing is… Multicam for dry socks… seriously?
