The Kryptek booth might have been out of the way but it was always packed.

Is this pattern more than a fad?

    • Mike says:

Its a finalist for the Army’s new camo, so I’d say its more than a fad, but then again, I use common sense and try to find out about something before commenting on it.

        Haha, we’ll played Mike

The Army’s present camouflage selection process is probably the most elaborate testing of uniform camouflage to date. Lesson thoroughly learnt from UCP, it seems. The fact that Kryptek has got this far implies that it must be a world class camouflage pattern.

If Kryptek doesn’t win the Army final, the current commerical interest in the pattern may well turn out to have been just a fad. Time will tell, but this doesn’t change the fact that it has to be very good to have got this far.

In contrast, some commercial patterns lacking any official military merit, like ATACS, seem surprisingly persistant on the market. Heavy marketing can replace demonstrated functionality, I guess.

What is the booth number I can’t it in the show map

  3. Bravo Henry says:

It’s going to be making some large appearances in ’13. Stay tuned!

Btw, any info on when Kryptek will offer raw goods to the general public?

This statement has been on their web page for a pretty long time:
“Before long, you will have the capability to order raw goods from our Camo store, including fabric. Check back soon!”

    • KaosKydex says:

All you have to do is call or email them and you can purchase goods. I got pricing last week, and will be ordering cordura next week. Texcel already has the webbing available, and I have 2 rolls on hand. The goods are just an email away.
