Using a hybrid composite of Polyethylene, Nylon and Carbon Fiber Stays, XFrame Dynamic Load Carriage moves with the body. According to TYR, it utilizes the active hip to create a cross sectional load to the opposing muscular structure. This allows for dynamic movement of the body (twisting, turning, bending, and rotational movement of the hips). The XFrame stays free-float within cross channels in the carrier and have secure limiter straps that can be adjusted for maximum range of movement.
The XFrame Dynamic Load Carriage is compatible with all carriers in the PICO family.

Interesting concept.
How much weight does this displace from the shoulders % wise, the figures I got on the BASE Frame has me on board.
I love my PICO-1 already, but after watching this promotional video I may have to throw down the cash for the XFrame (I’ve replaced all my first- and second-line gear with Tyr products this past year). Aaron, I’d love to compare notes if you end up running the BASE frame.
That’s a damn smart concept!
Glad to see there are still people out there not comfortable to just copy others’ designs, and actually come up with something new!!!
Now…to make something that retrofits into existing carriers, regardless of Mfgr-I know at least one buyer who would try it out 😉
C. ALAN, the Mystery Ranch Base Frame attaches via the pals webbing on the vest.
