During Operation Just Cause he participated in Operation Acid Gambit – the rescue of Kurt Muse from Modelo Prison in Panama City, Panama. As a tactics and marksmanship instructor on active duty he helped train special operations personnel that later captured Saddam Hussein and eliminated his sons Uday and Qusay Hussein. In addition he was directly involved in the design and development of the HK416 for Tier One SOF use which was used by Naval Special Warfare personnel to kill Osama Bin Laden. Larry Vickers has developed various small arms accessories with the most notable being his signature sling manufactured by Blue Force Gear and Glock accessories made by Tangodown. Good stuff Larry.
I really respect Larry and his years of service and expertice but why do we need his resume in detail every time he writes an article? I would think that Larry’s name and reputation would be pretty much known by most who frequent Solider Systems Daily and are students of martial skills. I think the overly vrrbose skills listing cheapens Larry and makes him look like many of the so-called experts and Internet posers that inflate their non-existant experience/skills to sell their dubious training/products. Larry is the real deal and a national treasure. He doesn’t need to over sell himself.
I do that for everyone of the Alias guys. We get new readers everyday and some will have no idea who these guys are.

I hear what you are saying as I have said the same thing myself – it is a bit over the top but I have discovered what Eric is saying first hand ; we literally get new people coming to our part of the world everyday so we can’t assume everyone knows everything
