Warrior West – Blue Force Gear

I was able to check out the new PLATEminus™ from Blue Force Gear which debuted yesterday here at Warrior West. Everyone I spoke to at the show was very excited about the carrier but asked about a more substantial cummerbund.

I spoke with BFG and they told me that something has been simmering on the back burner for awhile but based on this initial feedback they may introduce it soon.

    A detachable cummerbund would make this shine. Especially in the wolf color. Run it no cummerbund under plain clothes for low profile, but be able to attach the cummerbund with whatever pouches already attached when needed.

      JP is right. Cummerbund should provide a base for side arm. Very valuable as a throw-over-anything rig–whether you’re wearing Massif hot weather shirt, polo or Wild Things Happy Suit.

    Do it, please make an accessory c-bund to attach to this. If you guys could convince First Spear/ITW to let you use the 6/12 Tubes, this would be the the best carrier on the market bar-none, ESPECIALLY for the price.

    I’m actually happy with there being no cummerbund.. this is pretty sweet for uniformed LE, it looks like i can throw it on over my soft armor pretty easily and with minimal bulk

    Are there any plans to make this in Wolf or black? An overt military pattern doesn’t scream low-profile to me.
