The TacMites Review the Trigger Knife Kit from Klecker Knives and Tools

Designed by Nathan Klcker, the Trigger Knife Kit is an injection molded model knife kit that is great for learning about how a lockblade knife works. It features rounded edges and is intended for those ages 7 and up.

The Trigger Knife Kit is available in a variety of colors including Green, Blue, Black, Pink, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, and Yellow. The pieces can also be switched around to create interesting looks and it can even be used as a letter opener.

There will come a day when a vendor offers a kit where the user purchases a lockback body that is modular and accepts several blade profile types, and constructed with user maintenance in mind.

This will allow the user to configure his blade to the mission, rather than needing to own a range of complete knives. It will also allow them to pull the current blade out, insert a backup, and send the primary blade out for sharpening, maintenance, etc., if they don’t want to do the work themselves.

I’m not talking a Swiss Army setup either, but something that can remain low profile, thus modular. That company is going to make bucks (pun intended).

Very cool idea, and an even cooler video. Keep up the good work
