ExplosiveOps Gear – Viper Titanium Tool

Now available from ExplosiveOps Gear is the Viper, a modified version of their popular TET – Titanium Entry Tool. Custom designed for a Special Operation’s Team, this tool features a 90 degree curved end for increased leverage when prying, and a chisel cut end for ease in entering tight spaces. The Viper also features serrations that are hand cut on the back of the bar’s pry end to reduce slippage when prying.

Available in Camo, Coyote, OD Green, and Black; hand made in the USA.

“TET” also known as the common crowbar. now in titanium…. Come on guys, this tacticool craze is getting absurd.

    • SSD says:

I’m kind of curious. What do you think companies in this business space should be doing?

    • Mike in Fort Worth says:

Pieter, it’s not “tacticool” if it makes sense. The guys that need this type of gear are typically carrying a lot of other stuff. All that stuff tends to get heavy so if it’s possible to lighten the load that makes sense and could be worth the extra coin. Besides, if there is isn’t a market for this particular tool that ExplosiveOps will stop selling it. It’s how that capitalism thing works.

      • Chris says:

It’s really cool to see companies working with titanium. As engineer there has a big “scare factor” around working with titanium. I hope more and more companies will produce stuff using it!

        • Matt says:

Out of curiosity, what “scares” companies/engineers in regard to titanium products?

          • Riceball says:

As I understand it titanium can be difficult to work with, for one thing I don’t believe that it’s very easy to weld. but machining shouldn’t be that difficult though it might require special tooling parts.

I dunno man, if anything there isn’t enough titanium gear around. Kudos to ExplosiveOps
