So, it’s a black $3 gas station acrylic beanie (sold right next to the ice scrapers and blue washer fluid) with a little patch on it. An entire pack of Big Red gum says it’s probably made in China at a plant that also makes gas station beanies.
What makes THIS hat special besides a patch?
Their website says made in the UK, but 14 pounds is about $28, and that seems a lot for an acrylic beanie. I can drive a mile up the road to Tactical Tailor and get a fleece beanie for $8.75. I’m not trying to trash their company or anything, but I probably won’t be ordering one at that price.
The 14.00 BP price includes VAT. It’s 10.50 BP otherwise.
Well, if they are to be believed, the beanie is made in the UK.
Judging from the photos, it also looks like it is cut a bit different, in that it is longer to the back (like it needs to be) and shorter in the front (like it needs to be).
If so, it’ll wear (fit) a lot better than a bog-standard watch cap.
