Mechanix Wear is now offering MultiCam gloves. Currently, the popular Fastfit, Original, and M-Pact model gloves are available in MultiCam. A friend of ours recently got a hold of the MultiCam Fastfit and Original gloves and sent us photos which can be viewed below.

As a heads up, there’s 10% off mechanix at LAPG today, including these gloves.

No affiliation, just passing it on.
Nice try, LAPG employee
Alaska is a bit far afield for an LAPG employee.
Just got mine in the mail yesterday; the material feels a bit thicker than the regular “original” gloves…maybe that will help with wear resistance…I like ’em…
Finally! Every time I go in my local auto parts store I see the mechanix section and get all bummed the MC gloves aren’t out yet. not anymore!
(thanks for the LAPG heads up by the way!)
Nice.
Is the only difference between the Original and Fastfit the elasticated band on the wrist?
The Originals have a different cut and the thumb is sewn differently. I also find the FastFit feel tighter across my knuckles than Originals. Definitely more than just the wrist retention.
They also now offer a Original Covert Black 0.5 Glove. I prefer the 0.5 due to the better “feel” & dexterity. The downside, they wear out twice as fast.
Multicam gloves like multicam boots are for airsoft players
thanks for sharing your wisdom.
Trying to bash people\products for being unprofessional to make oneself look like a “battle hardened – No BS – Pro” for a moment seems to be a big thing on the Internet.
Are Multicam shirts for airsofters? What about Multicam trousers?…Multicam jackets?
“WE’RE ALL DOOOMED”
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but on a brighter note i mean hunters dont use multicam cause in some cases its cheaper and more stuff out there than hunting camo like realtree or mossyoak………………
My only complaints are that they seem a bit thicker, which should help them last longer as pointed out, and that they have a sheen to them. If the shininess wears down a bit with use that would make me feel much better about them, but it strikes me as a hard sell for some at the point of purchase. I really want to see how they look under an NVD.
I wish these were made in the USA. It is a shame.
Unfortunately, as a country, we consumers needed to vote with our money 20 years ago, not just wake up to the fact that all our manufacturing capability was gone.
We can say what we want about supporting US Manufacturing, but it falls on deaf ears of the CFO’s who only watch where we spend our money, not what we say. We are all guilty of being self-righteous in our own industries and self interest. Yet we turn around and demand the lowest price of other industries with no regard for where it was made.
Nothing against you William, we all made this bed as consumers, not just Corporate Greed but Consumer Greed too.
Sorry, off my soapbox.
Very well put Scott. It’s so easy to blame others for our complacency/greed. Luckily, there are more and more manufacturing jobs being created in the USA, and many larger retail businesses have included “made in the USA” sections on their websites. We have a lot to do to bring manufacturing back, but I’m optimistic.
