Phokus Research Update

There’s a couple of announcements from Phokus Research regarding their products and customers. First, the Sons Trauma Kit line has been expanded to four sizes, and consists of the Mobility, Deployment, Low-Vis, and Shield variants. The Mobility and Shield versions were created to fulfill end-user requirements.

Their LVD II has the same contents as the DTK II. This means end users can carry our kit under their armor or on their belt in the small of the back (Using the First Spear Low Vis Pouch). The Zippered Training Kits have been overwhelmingly popular due to training concerns which means no more destroying a deployment kit in training. The Phokus Z-Fold Gauze is now replacing competitors gauze within DOD and it’s also Berry Compliant and has a secondary use as a Hemostatic Training Gauze (Same Dimensions). The Blood Type Stickers, Rip Cord Extenders, and the other products we showed you after Warrior West are just the beginning for Phokus. They were born out of necessity; their requirement for flat Trauma Supplies.

Also, Naval Special Warfare has added the Hoplite to the new Visual Augmentation System Kit. Hoplites are issued with every new PVS-31 in use by NSW commands.

Phokus Research Group will be present at Warrior Expo East, booth #1009. If you have the opportunity, give them a visit and check out their products.
