Bates Footwear recently debuted their Recondo jungle boot, developed for a specialized military requirement for a boot for hot, wet environments. Now, they are available exclusively from Tactical Distributors. They feature side panels in the MultiCam pattern which is also known in the US military as Operational Camouflage Pattern.

What was wrong with panama sole? This one looks awfully thick. Also, last time I was in the jungle, the floor was dark brown and green, no tan and yellow… Don´t have to mention that mud will stuck to nubuk leather much better than to polished leather. Old school jungle boots still win in my case (unfortunately ´cause its about time for someone to come with solid replacement)
once again they dont want big foots wearing to cool new stuffs 🙁
I’ve worn M9s in the jungle, once it rains, you are fucked, they turned into huge sponges. I hope these are from a different material, completely. There’s a reason we had jungle boots be jungle boots for a long, I mean decades long, time… because they worked in the jungle, consistently.

As it stands right now this boot isn’t acceptable for wear in the Army because of the use of “warrior leather”, of course I’m sure that the OCP sides isn’t anymore acceptable.
