Something Wicked Cool This Way Comes – Get Ready for the MultiCam Force 10 Pants from Triple Aught Design

Hold on to your wallets ladies and gentlemen, it’s happening. Triple Aught Design is poised to launch the MultiCam version of the Force 10 pant we told you about during last month’s Blade Show.

Made from genuine MultiCam print 50/50 NYCO fabric in the classic Force 10 design.

Features:

Ample Storage: Eight pockets provide ample storage, including two hidden Passport Pockets to hold personal documents discretely. Internal pocket dividers in the cargo pockets secure spare magazines, radios, flashlights, or other gear. Pass-through slots on the cargo flaps accommodate longer items and provide access to strategically placed D-rings for dummy cording gear.

Repairable: Our Canadian tape style buttons are secured on nylon webbing with bartacks for greater staying power and we include a slotted repair button that quickly slides onto the webbing for easy repair in the field.

Versatile Design: The cargo pockets lay flat creating a streamlined look and incorporate bellowed design allowing for expanded storage space. We created a slide-through slot at the top of the pocket to allow for quick and easy access to linear shaped items like a long flashlight or ruler.

Added Protection: Inserts at the knees accommodate T-Pro Armor Pads for increased protection and less strain on your body.

These launch tomorrow, Thursday, 20150702, at 0900 Pacific. Just in time for Independence Day. They’ll be available then, on the Force 10 page. TAD hasn’t offered MutiCam in years so please note that the pricing of the MultiCam pants will be $140. This is a bit higher than the solid colors and that’s due to material costs. Shipping starts Wednesday, 20150708.

Shut up, and take my money!!!!

I had the original Force 10 Multicam pants many moons ago. I found them completely underwhelming. Very unusual cut and fit. And dare I say kind of cheap looking. I bought them based on hype similar to this SSD post and regretted it. Didn’t care for the material at the time either which faded very fast.

I find most TAD gear articles of clothing to be hit and miss. Some are great quality pieces and others are junk. Go to the store and try before you buy. Don’t believe the hype.

Have to agree, I have two pairs of the Covert RS plus a couple of pairs of shorts and a Fast Pack EDC which are all great gear so I bought a couple of pairs of Force 10´s which I found uber disappointing and reluctant to buy anymore of their gear.

I have a number of pairs of their pants and love them. I will buy more. But yes they are hit or miss especially in sizing from pair to pair, but then I discovered this idea of “returns” and it changed my life.

I’ve had the opposite experience. I have the original Force 10 505 NYCO Multicam pants, and I thought they fit great. The quality of material and construction is second to none as well. In the time I have worn out multiple pairs of Crye Field Uniform pants, the F10’s are still in perfect shape.

Although, they were $98.99 back in 2008. Will still definitely be buying a second set.

    That’s awesome!

Considering I get nearly the same pants from LA Police gear for about $30…

    • AL says:

You get what you pay for. LA Police Gear a knock off. I’ve put those knockoff pants to the test and it didn’t hold up. Less than 2 weeks and it was falling a part. Every single piece of TAD Pants that I’ve owned thus far as held up as advertised. Oh, how much can you resell your cheap LA Police Gear pants for? I can get 80-90% of my money back by reselling my pants to someone else that are TAD fan boys. Haters are going to hate.

      • Riceball says:

But not everybody needs a $150 pair of pants, for some people a $30 pair of pants is more than adequate. Not everybody is going to be running around the hills and mountains of Noweheristan where they need the reliability and durability of a $150 pair of pants but for trips to the range, trail hiking, car camping a $30 pair of pants is more than enough. I own a pair of Tru-Spec and Blackhawk tactical pants, both cost well under $100 and both have lasted me a few years of trail hiking and tent camping.

      • balais says:

They hold up better than the 5.11s, especially the Stryke pants.

    • JB says:

LA Police Gear pants go great with your Condor tactical gear.

Goddamnit, not even 5 mins and already sold out

    • Rob Collins says:

Available in mini & maxi sizes… Vertx for me…

      • sefryak says:

Why would they not weight more towards the 34/34 sizing? Have to wait again so, only been 8 years…

  7. Lightfighter says:

A couple of weeks ago I sold an unworn pair from 2007 on Ebay for more than than the new price. I’ve found the quality and durability to be excellent and have other Force 10’s and Legionnaires from the same period that have seen A LOT of wear and that are still good to go. The only complaint I have is that the old fit ( I don’t know if they’ve since adjusted it ) was just way too voluminous and I’m not a real skinny guy.
