Beyond x First Spear Booth Jacket
Introducing the Booth Jacket by Beyond and First Spear. The Booth Jacket is a fully U.S. made (Berry Compliant) evolution of First Spear’s Squadron Smock. This extremely limited run consists of only 13 jackets and they will not be reproduced.
Originally inspired by a traditional British Smock, the Booth Jacket is loaded with pockets and features. Built out of a DWR treated 50/50 nylon cotton ripstop for durability and protection from the elements. The Booth Jacket also features a grid fleece liner, Cordura elbow reinforcement and mesh interior pockets. The hood is sized to fit over a helmet and features a wired brim that can be adjusted for full customization. Extending down the hood and the back of the garment are attachment points for camouflage material. In total, the Booth Jacket features 18 pockets for endless storage configurations.

Perfect if you wear a size large.
Argh!! I had one all lined up to buy and then saw LARGE only! I wear a large in some jackets but in a smock style a medium does me best. I am bummed as I would love to get one.
I just bought one. Probably will be a bit too big for me, but I just had to have one. Limited production or not, I’m wearing it. I just won’t leave it unattended.
It will end up being the baddest ass jacket I ever owned. At least I won’t have all the Costa want-a-be’s dressed up in one, even if Chris does end up getting one.
O P Tactical still has some First Spear Squadron Smocks in Coyote and Multicam, I believe all sizes M – XL, for those who need other options.
I’m really close to pulling the trigger on a coyote one, but I’d like to hear some user feedback before I do.
Honestly I’d prefer one in wolf gray or something but you take what you can get
“Alpendrms” on the HPG forums swears by his, from Peru to the Rockies.
Why is the demonstration model’s skin a purplish pink?
Are they trying to accurately trying to display a person in the freezing cold?
Nice looking smock, just the Camo is the wrong way
Yep, I was looking at that, too… Bet some one got a talking to over that.
Wrong way? Terrain in a real setting never is perfectly straight or running in the same direction, don’t see why that would be an issue….
Pockets & loops very similar to the SASS Kit Karry smock of 1980’s / 90s vintage. Missing knitted cuffs and a D ring for attaching 550 cord + gear above chest pocket. Wore mine out:(
SASS have been selling stuff on Ebay but don’t seem to be making their own anymore. Keep half an eye on this in case they do:

I know this isn’t clothing design Q&A, but why the slotted & ribbon fixed buttons and not normal buttons attached by thread?
They work better when you have hands in the gloves.
and more reliable attachment
This looks VERY similar to SORDs general purpose jacket, maybe a few better materials but conceptually it’s exactly the same. Except the GP jacket has a removable fleece liner. And comes in many colours and sizes. Maybe worth a look
Look up Squadron Smock on SSD. It’s been around for years.
Sold out. 🙁
The ones that were issued worked fine. ? FBGM
