Did they turn Blitzkrieg the Bomb Dog loose on him? Maybe take him out to a gravel pit and deploy the disruptor? Send the robot to claw him up? Stuff him into the containment vessel on the trailer and pull it down the bumpiest road they could find at 60 MPH? I mean, hell, if he wants to have fun, lets go all in.
…and then there’s this asshole that pulled the fire alarm in two different buildings last night (also sprayed a fire extinguisher everywhere on the floor) at 0330.
Good to know the fire department will arive in just enough time for all my shit to burn down. Thank god I won’t lose sleep over that one.
Can’t believe that this asshat actually tried to gain admittance to the base dressed like this, in this day and age. He’s lucky he wasn’t shot. If I was on the gate he would of been.
I’m AD stationed at Fort Bragg as well and have pulled ACP guard duty… All Fort Bragg gate guards go through a course, qualify with the M9, and are armed while on duty.
Only guys unarmed while checking IDs are the 2 or so soldiers who come out to help during rush hour as of August 2015 (the last time I was on the gate).
I saw it this morning, they are packing, never noticed before I guess. Fucker is lucky he didn’t get shot, but then again, shooting someone with an SVest on is not a good idea for multiple reasons.
A few years back one of the civilian scientists from Wright-Patterson thought it would be clever to attend a squadron party dressed as a Russian General Officer. According to rumor, the guy just drove up to the gate and handed the guard his civilian ID while wearing a real Russian uniform. The Airmen at the gate was not amused. While EOD was not called, the OSI counter-intelligence guys had a fantastic evening that night.
And this asshat wasn’t shot?
I guess he was white.

Guys checking ID cards aren’t armed, unless it’s the rare occasion that an MP is doing it.
It depends on the post. My last CONUS post armed all of the gate guards, including those serving gate duty.
