SIG SAUER - Never Settle

Magpul Announces Tejas Gun Belt

Man, that’s a good looking belt.  Magpul has combined a leather exterior with a polymer interior to offer a strong belt, meant for wearing with a holster. It’s 1-1/2″ wide to fit most loops.

Available in Black and Chocolate, with Light Brown coming soon. Sizes 32-44.

Do want! Without the Fancy stitch that turns so many off these things look like a home run!

    • Geoff says:

At least it isn’t over-the-top stitch work that makes it look like a cowboy rig, as so many good leather belts are.

  2. defensor fortismo says:

Dammit, this is how I keep buying belts.

  3. Bill says:

Maybe the wrong audience, but It’s good to see something that doesn’t resemble the seatbelt out of an Indy car. The insert should keep me from sweating through it in hot, humid summers.

While I agree with the absence of the typical gunfighter stitching, basketweave would be cool, and they can’t name it “Tejas” unless it’s available in floral carved – I’m pretty sure that’s a law.

  4. Matt says:

In the immortal work of Jim Carrey “I like it…I like it a lot!”

  5. Matt says:

Words. Not work. Damn you small keyboard! Damn you! *shaking fist

  6. Kango says:

I like the special hardware they use. I have to loctite my chicago screws on my leather belts.

  7. balais says:

Very nice. These kind of remind me of the maxpedition liger gun belts, although more old fashioned. Hopefully these will actually be available for purchase as opposed to a curiosity only known by sponsored gear reviewers.

    • SSD says:

These are made from leather and not bio thane. Second, if you’d go to the link rather than run your suck, you’d know that you could buy a belt.

      • balais says:

I said “they remind me…”. This is not the first time you have failed at reading comprehension I guess.

Yeah I suppose I can finally buy one, after I’ve moved on a long time ago. Good thing in the end too.

F–k them guys with satan’s pitchfork.

        • Kango says:

You said they reminded you of the liger belts.

Then said, “Hopefully these will actually be available for purchase as opposed to a curiosity only known by sponsored gear reviewers.”

So it looks like its your reading comprehension that is poor.

          • balais says:

            *deskpalm*

Do try to follow along before you decide to hop on this merry go round. I said it reminds me of the Liger belts (due to appearances, NOT material. Although SSD decided to “correct” me, thinking he’s making a salient point by mentioning material, when he’s not).

You would think everything is abundantly clear above. Guess not.

Jesus christ. “best and brightest” eh??? (LOL). Check yourself before trying to criticize my reading comprehension which is tickin just fine, Kango.

            “Then why are you commenting?”

            um, cuz I can?

            • SSD says:

Ok, it doesn’t look like a liger belt either. Mostly because it’s not made out of Biothane which doesn’t look like leather.

        • SSD says:

          Then why are you commenting?

    • Jon C. says:

We don’t give reviewers pre-production samples, and we don’t “sponsor” anyone. If they can review it, you can buy it.

  8. Jon Meyer says:

Lose the silver hardware and replace with aged brass and offer a aged bark leather to match the Chippewa’s and it is GTG.

    • Magpul says:

Black and Gunmetal hardware are on the way as an option.

Default was chrome due to it’s popularity and wear characteristics.

  9. redbeard33 says:

Really nice job! Same thoughtful approach they give to all their products.

  10. BravoMike says:

Looks great. Love to see Magpul constantly expanding their line and trying new things. I’ll have to try one out.
