I’m supposed to take my Sam Browne belt off, or dump my holster and belt kit, and hold my pants up with one hand while using this? Interesting.

I’m waiting for the first case of autoerotic asphyxiation by commercial tourniquet death. First reported case, that is.

    • Reeky says:

I think this is more of an every day wear belt, not just an operatin belt.

      • Bill says:

For those of us who carry every day, it still means loosing control of my handgun, spare ammo and cell phone at least.

I might be inclined to use it when hiking or backpacking when my gun is mounted elsewhere than under a pack belt, but I still have a tourniquet in my IFAK, so……

        • JNZ says:

So I can assume two things from your post then…

          1. You carry some other Tq with your EDC clearly.

          2. It’s better to bleed out with an arterial wound then to lose your belt.

          Yep, makes tons of sense.

  2. John says:

    Gents,
This belt was designed as a daily wear belt. It is not a primary tourniquet for combat or as a uniformed officer gear rig. This is for the hunters, loggers, walking the mall, teachers, fobbits, or anyone that wants to always be prepared.

    • Bill says:

Good point about loggers, and I’d include agricultural workers. I’ve seen some nasty injuries when body parts got caught in farming equipment.

  3. RayForest says:

When using a tourniquet recreationally we teach always have a spotter and safety word

  4. Mike says:

This is quite innovative, great take on something used everyday.
