The 6378USN ALS Low Signature Holster Took Top Honors

ONTARIO, California – Safariland, the worldwide leader in retention holsters, is honored to win the 2015 Brilliance Award for Best Tactical Holster by OpticsPlanet, Inc. for its 6378USN ALS Low Signature Pistol Holster for the GLOCK 19,23 with light.

The OpticsPlanet Awards include 18 categories that are selected by customers and OpticsPlanet’s team of product experts. Part of the “Best Gun Accessories of 2015” category, Safariland’s 6378USN ALS Low Signature Holster is ideal for a tactical user needing a reduced Infrared Signature (IR) holster with reliable security and intuitive draw. Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place, providing an extra measure of security from standard open top holsters.

The Safariland 6378USN features an injection molded paddle design that is highly concealable and rides close to the body with a slightly forward weapon cant. Additionally, it features suede lining to help protect the gun’s sights and finish. Its SafariLaminate™ structure with a wraparound design provides an extremely strong design combination.

“We’re honored by this distinction from such an outstanding partner like OpticsPlanet,” said Scott Carnahan, Vice President, Equipment. “Our diverse collection of tactical holsters are among the best on the market because of our high-quality and technologically-advanced products for law enforcement, sporting and personal defense customers.”

  1. SC says:

So their own distributor gave them an award? That’s like bragging that my mom told me I was handsome and smart too.

Optics Planet carries more than Safariland for holsters and they are not, by far, the only distributor for Safariland.

This is more akin to bragging that your high school principal gave you a student of the year award, to continue your child analogy.

  2. Bill says:

“Retention” and “paddle” do not go together, unless it means that the bad guy gets to retain your holster AND pistol when it’s torn away during a fight.

Though I am pretty sure that Safariland has a loop option.

  3. I wish they’d extend their Low-viz holster line to include the Glock 17.

I think the only other option to cover your fuzzy holster addiction would be G-CODE.
