CMSgt Paul Koester (USAF, ret) Joins Team Wendy as Military Market Manager

CMSgt Paul KoesterTeam Wendy is proud to announce that CMSgt (ret) Paul Koester has joined their business development team as the company’s Military Market Manager.

“Paul’s years of operational experience and immense knowledge of warfighter equipment is second to none,” said Jose Rizo-Patron, CEO of Team Wendy. “He is a great addition to our team and will have an important role in growing our domestic and international military business as well as contributing to our product development efforts.”

Paul retired from the Air Force in 2015 after 41 years of service as a Pararescueman and Combat Controller. Ending his career as the Chief Enlisted Manager for the 58 RQS at Nellis AFB, Nevada, Paul previously served as the AFSOC and PACAF Pararescue Functional Manager, Personnel Parachute Program Manager and Command Diver.

As the longest serving Pararescueman in the Air Force, Paul deployed numerous times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Northern Watch and Operation Southern Watch. He is a Master Parachutist with over 1000 jumps, a Naval Surface Warfare Center/CRANE Joint Small Arms and Sniper Rifle Certified Armorer as well as a designated marksman instructor.

He holds a bachelor’s degree of Aeronautical Studies and master’s degree of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in addition to a master’s degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University.

Paul resides in Nevada where he instructs tactical marksmanship courses, sky dives and gun smiths in his free time.
