To be sure, IWA rivals SHOT Show but German optics manufacturer Schmidt & Bender’s booth is a sight to behold.

    I know, right? I rounded the corner into that hall and was like “Holy big TV.” Then I saw the demo area where customers could look out the window with the optics: pretty slick. All in dazzling white like an Apple Defense Store.

    The Germans sure know how to put on a great trade show. I’ve been to a plastics and composites show once in Düsseldorf and it had massive multistory booths from the likes of giants BASF and Dow complete with cappuccino bars and lovely ladies.

    It must kill them to work out of the CrackerJack box they have at SHOT.
