Friday evening, GSS Gear sent out an email outlining their plan to move their corporate Headquarters to the vicinity of Fort Walton Beach, Florida which is close to Hurlburt Field and Eglin AFB and home to AFSOC, the EOD School, Florida Ranger Camp and 7th Special Forces Group. GSS also announced it planned to close their pro shop on Virginia Beach’s Laskin Road.

I’m curious as to why this happened. If the move didn’t do as well for them as they had thought. I really enjoyed going there to browse.
I wouldn’t have thought the FWB area was a big tactical community, 7th Group & AFSOC being the only constant users of said gear. And their store in FWB is only noticeable if you’re looking for it, barely.
There’s more there than that. You must work for a competitor. The shop isn’t hard to find, but it is out toward the airport.
