GunfightersINC CAS/C5S IWB Holster

For Immediate Release: The current market trends show an overwhelming push towards lightweight, highly concealable single stack pistols. These pistols are easy to carry and with the right holster, are barely noticeable under a wide array of cover garments. The major trade-off with a single stack 9mm is capacity. Even with a +1 or +2 baseplate, you are still sitting at half the round count of a double stack pistol such as a Glock 19. While it is certainly an option to carry magazines in pockets or in a separate pouch, we wanted to offer a system that would allow you to have a spare magazine at the ready in a streamlined low-profile system.

The CAS/C5S IWB Holster is available in two configurations: The CAS positions the firearm vertical for easy concealment and your magazine at 30° angle for the fastest and most natural possible in the 12 O’clock position. The C5S is designed to sit on the strong side of the body, with a canted firearm (10-15°) and slightly canted magazine (10°) for fast draw and minimal printing in the 3-5 O’clock position. The rounds are set to face toward the firearm to enhance quick reloads. The holster is contoured to have a steep curve that pulls the firearm and magazine into the body to reduce printing and aid concealment.

We designed the CAS/C5S holster to be a simple, one-piece unit that you can easily take on and off with little trouble. The minimalist design prevents discomfort by limiting bulk and unnecessary material, yet still offers a full sweatshield to protect your firearm. No fighting overly complex clip systems or bulky brackets. No threaded fasteners to work loose. No magazines floating around in pockets or an extra holster that you have to deal with. Our experience has shown us that if your holster is uncomfortable or needlessly complex, you won’t wear it.

The CAS/C5S is available for a wide variety of compact and subcompact firearms from most major firearms including 1911s, Glock, FNH, H&K, Sig, Smith and Wesson, Springfield, Ruger and Walther.

I trust my Springfield to help me defend my life. However, I do not trust it to never shoot my dick off. Do a lot of people really carry a gun like that?

I’m not trying to be a jerk. I guess if you don’t mind a gun aimed at your genitals, then this seems like a really good version of a genital destroying weapon holding apparatus, and I genuinely wish the manufacturer all the best. But is this really a popular way to carry? If so, you guys have more balls than I do. You know… Until you shoot them off. 😉

    • Bunn says:

If you are concerned your Springfield may have a random ND of its own volition, I would switch over to a Glock or M&P.

When your me who’s 125lbs and 5’6, there isint a lot of ways to comfortably carry a Glock 17 in a way that I’ll want to carry everyday and for twice weekly 2 hour car drives. Appendix is pretty fucking great for smaller framed people like me.

      • Mr.E.G. says:

I’m not much bigger than you. I can see the advantages, I just don’t want to take chances when my junk is on the line.

    • PNWTO says:

How many times has a pistol gone off without being physically manipulated? I haven’t heard of any.

You’ve apparently never heard of Taurus. 😉

I get what you’re saying. I just don’t trust any weapon pointed at my genitals.

Appendix carry is extremely popular with people who are on the thinner end of the spectrum. It provides really good concealment and fast draw. There are probably a hundred different appendix holsters on the market. Kydex is probably safer that nylon or leather for appendix carry since it doesn’t deform or flatten and is perfectly shaped to the gun with full trigger guard coverage. Still, big boy rules apply, particular when reholstering.

If you look at the second picture, you’ll see that the holster can be setup for the more traditional strongside carry (ie 5 o’clock). We just change some of the angles so it’s more concealable in that position, but otherwise you still get a nice simple rig that carries your gun and magazine.

Either way, if you shoot yourself when holstering a firearm the results won’t be pleasant. Probably best to avoid that.

Does anyone know what pants those are in the picture that has the holster positioned at 3 o’clock and a knife in the pocket

    • Woody Dixon says:

Those are the Tactical Distributor’s Carlos Ray pants. I bought them on a whim from a post here on Soldier Systems and they have quickly become my absolute favorite pants to wear. They look presentable around the office but are great at the range too Best of all they don’t scream tactical operator leo/I am carrying a gun right now like 5.11 and vertex pants do.

Except that they have TD branding on both the front an back of them haha. They should have kept all branding off.

        Thank you sir!
