Covert Operations Gear (COG) Low-Profile EDC Bag is an ambidextrous modular carry system that includes two swappable velcro hook-backed EDC platforms/panels that can be mounted to the bag’s main body. The sling can be worn slung over either shoulder. Bartacked color-matching PALS webbing runs the length of the sling’s shoulder, allowing users to weave in comms wires, battery pack cables, etc. The sling also includes a double-flap pocket made from stitch-weave twill fabric that will accommodate most smart phones and tourniquets.
The bag’s main body has a flap with a hidden exterior zippered compartment. One cool feature of the the Low-Profile EDC bag are the two magnetic Fidlock buckles on the main body’s flap which snap together as soon as the two halves are in close proximity.
• The EDC Pocket Platform has several open-top compartments in various widths to accommodate small items such as pens, knives, flashlights, notepads, multi-tools, and medical/IFAK items. This pocket platform also has two (2) zippered compartments, the smaller of which includes an HK style sling snap hook for attaching keys and/or electronic key FOBs. The larger zipper compartment is lined with soft foam material and is designed to accommodate many popular tablets. An iPad mini will fit in the pocket and can be zipped closed; a full-size iPad will fit, however the zipper must remain open.
• The EDC Weapon Platform is velcro loop lined and is sized to accommodate a variety of handguns, from sub-compacts to full-sized handguns, with or without a weapon light. The EDC Weapon Platform is ambidextrous, with left and right-hand-zippered openings, allowing compartment access from either side, and is lined with velcro loop for the user to mount an appropriate velcro hook-backed holster. Proven Leather and Kydex holsters are generally compatible. The user may install a strip of adhesive backed velcro hook (not included) onto one side of the holster and affix the holster inside the weapon compartment. The Weapon Platform also features its own exterior-zippered pocket and a row of MOLLE to attach miscellaneous gear or a tourniquet.

There should be a rule that if you put Velcro or MOLLE on an item you can’t use the term “covert” or “low profile” in its name or description.
Agreed
Or for that matter, maybe hold off on the multicam? Molle has started to creep into civilian designs, and velcro isn’t that big a deal if you don’t go full retard with the morale patches, but if your pattern stands out, none of it matters.
lol definitely agree
If you need a low profile messenger bag, why dont just get a north face/patagonia or whatever messenger bag like everyday people use.
If you want to be “covert” but still want to give that certain “vibe” to eveyone who sees you, because you didnt want to be so covert that not everyone can see what a total tactical badass you are, use a bag like this..
And people who are like; ” but eveyone wears camo these days, its fashion so my bag will just blend in.”
No they dont! And to eveyone who is like; ” nobody really notice what you wear anyway man!”
Then go for it. If what you wear is of no consern to anyone, chances are you have no need to be covert anyways..
If you don’t understand what “covert” actually means, this is the covert bag for you.
You could use the weapon panel for a quickly deploy-able laptop like in watch dogs 2 and live out your candy coated hacker dreams.
