New Products From High Speed Gear

SWANSBORO, North Carolina – We recently revealed several new products at SHOT Show 2017 to wide acclaim and interest. We’re proud to bring some of those products to you with the launch of a new chest rig, as well as several new variations on old favorites.

Our new Neo Chest Rig is a lightweight platform constructed of a laser-cut proprietary 1000D Cordura® laminate. Aside from being a fuller rig than our other chest rig offerings, the Neo Chest Rig also features our celebrated neoprene padding on the removable shoulder straps and back panel, making this rig the most stable and comfortable on the market. In addition to the large main platform, it includes a removable 8” x 8” bib with laser cut slots for pouches and a top-access Velcro® pocket. This rig is fully adjustable to fit nearly any size or build.

By popular demand, we’re also adding a family of shingles to our line, to include the TACO® Shingle, Double Decker TACO® Shingle, X2R TACO® Shingle and Triple Extended Pistol TACO®.

Each shingle features three corresponding TACO® pouches that are permanently secured to a laser-cut laminate base, ensuring easy and stable mounting on any PALS platform, such as vests, plate carriers and battle belts.

That chest rig is very Rhodesian Recon-esque. I like it.

  2. Invictus says:

The double decker triple TACO panel with a backer and mounting straps is available through LBX (LBX-4020P), is that not going to be the case going forward?

  3. Eli says:

What is everyone’s favorite way of quieting those velcro map/kangaroo pouches on flaks and chest rigs? I was thinking of just throwing some single side velcro on them so that they stay open.

      Eli-
What I do is use a Blue Force Gear Triple M4/M16 “Dapper” pouch…IDK if they sell it anymore, but I am sure you can find one on gear sites “for sale” page(s) (lightfighter,M4.net ect) if BFG is no longer stocking them.
It velcros inside-of course, right? ,is made from elastic, so it lays flat. I Just slap it in the map pouch on front of my carrier, and carries 3 mags, and because they are so lightweight, even if you don’t carry mags,TQ’s or whatever in them, they lay completely flat.
Maybe it would work for you…?
