During SHOT Show, TYR Tactical showed me quite a few new products. We previewed this one at the SIG Range Day, but there are many more to debut during the coming weeks including a few I’ve never seen.
Huron™ Tactical Clothing has continued to grow and evolve this past year. The utilization of state-of-the-art textiles, along with extensive field testing, has culminated in the creation of many new products. As an industry leader in the United States and now in Canada, TYR Tactical® vows to remain committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity, while proudly being able to provide you with 100% US or Canadian-Made products.
TYR Tactical® is proud to announce the release of the Huron™ Hot Weather Uniform Short & Long Sleeve Combat Shirt. These featherweight redesigns are built using the same lightweight, quick drying, ultra-breathable 3.6oz nylon as our Hot Weather Uniform Blouse, along with a Polartec® Power Dry® torso for amazing comfort under armor. Both are available now at tyrtactical.com.
The Huron™ Hot Weather Uniform Long Sleeve Combat Shirt (HRN-HWU107-CS) was designed to be worn in both arid and humid climates. We incorporated a mix of hi-tech materials and fabric treatments to create a garment that moves moisture away from the body and dries quickly. It’s guaranteed to be the lightest most breathable combat shirt you have ever worn.
Design Features:
• Long Sleeve with Elbow reinforcements.
• Antimicrobial Polartec® Power Dry® polyester is double plaited to wick sweat away from your skin.
• Treated with No Fly Zone® Insect Repellent Technology. This treatment prevents the spread of insect borne diseases by repelling insects through fabrics which require no further processing.
• Treated with Moisture Control System (M.C.S.) technology which provides comfort and breathability. In essence, our M.C.S. finish makes high performance synthetics behave more like cotton in regards to breathability and comfort.

Great shirt but holy hell…139.95?
Ever shop for Berry combat shirts? that is on the low end.
Yep, forgot about them being Berry. That’s definitely on par.
You’re complaining about $139.95? For Made in USA?
When I seen people complain about how much things cost on here I wonder if the guzzle energy drinks or dip or smoke or any combination of the three.
Add those costs up weekly.
That’s a nice shirt alright, but make us one in lupus!
Odd that these don’t have the sleeve pockets like the hot weather blouse.
I’m surprised that the torso fabric isn’t available in MultiCam. It really degrades the camouflage effect to have that big block of a solid color right at center mass…
Usually that area is covered by bodyarmor, right?
Less and less of it is covered. Coverage area is way smaller now compared to the old Eagle-CIRAS days.
What GMK said. Plus it would just make the garment look better too, in my opinion.
I was also curious about the absence of bicep pockets…
I’m not surprised, but then again I also don’t think that the solid colored earth tone armpit or belly is what blows your camo away compared to shine, shadows, silhouette, shape, sound and movement. Or your black rifle.
I am however surprised that there are no bicep pockets.
Hot dawg.. I was expecting at least a high-200s price tag. That’s bloody tempting at those numbers. Presumably will-melt-will-drip, but you always seem to lose wicking the more FR you go.
$140 for the SS. It’s probably priced where it’s supposed to be with all the tech going on but that’s up there. The $40 XGO doesn’t sting so bad now.
How much should it cost? I mean, the majority of the work is in the Torso.
