I just so happen to have a Ruger American in .308. I will have to look into the weight difference and check them out.

  2. Luke says:

finally some aftermarket love for the Ruger American! This can’t not sell like hotcakes.

  3. Micah says:

I know the demand probably is not there. But would be awesome if they came out with this for Ruger American in 556/223.

    • Keith says:

The stock is for all short action American rifles. From Magpul’s website:

“NOTE: PMAG 5 7.62 AC – AICS Short Action magazine is for the 308 Winchester and similar sized cartridges. Rifles that use smaller or larger cartridge cases will require the customer to separately purchase an AICS pattern compatible magazine of their choice.”

    • JMTX says:

From my interpretation, the .223 rifle will work with the stock. But you’ll have to use AICS pattern mags in .223 vs the rotary mags that are standard with the rifle. And they’re relatively easy to find. Now only if MAGPUL would only start making .223 AICS mags

  4. Diddler says:

If only they would make these stocks in left hand.

    • Kit Badger says:

…if only everyone was right handed. (Just kidding, your struggle is real. Right handed power tools used to murder South Paws.)

    Does this fit a GSR?

  6. Andrew says:

Does anyone know when they’ll be available?
