That’s a really interesting retention system, which, according to the Surefire website retains the weapon by holding on to the light, not the weapon. I am sure they tested it well, but it just seems like a lot of stress to put on the light system, but … props for a novel solution.
I was going to add something humorous about the AIWB system allowing you to carry your handgun with a huge suppressor, but I decided not to in light of the recent warning against humor.
Would be really cool if the retention system put the slide slightly out of battery. since the trigger never looks fully shrouded.
