Belleville’s Glen Becker goes over the QRF line we previewed back in May.
Designed to address the infil & exfil operations of a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) team in mind, The QRF Series of boots offer a unique and purposeful option for when movement is essential. With design and performance influences from the outdoor trekking and approach shoe category, the QRF Series integrates an aggressive, lace-to-toe closure system; an integrated medial side fast rope channel with high friction rubber for controlled descent; and low drop soling system to enhance performance in multiple environments.
In addition, the QRF series includes:
-An exclusive long-wearing RAKKASAN rubber outsole for enhanced slip resistance and grip
-Removable, dual density Ortholite® footbed with high rebound memory foam and heel cup stabilizer
-An aero-spacer hydrophilic mesh lining for superior moisture management & breathability
The QRF Series is offered in 6 styles: 8” & 6” Coyote Brown; 8” Sage Green; 8” side zip, 8” waterproof & 6” Black.

Um…ok…so…these boots…are good when…your mission is to not stand still…and…have something to do with QRF infil and exfil…but…these are a kind of footwear, not a friggin’ rotary wing asset…so…let me sum up: Infil…Exfil…Operations…QRF…Purposeful…Essential…’Merica…
The derp is strong in this one.
They look really good though. I like the low cut version in tan/bark especially.
Concur…Belleville makes some great boots. They need to can whoever wrote that tacticool nonsense, and stick to making great boots.
As a former 82nd guy, they lost me at rakkasan LOL. Just kidding, nothing but love for my little buddies in the 101st.
Just means they are better for Air Assault than Airborne operations, that’s all.
personally over these low-drop soles. anyone else long for a boot with a proper heel to it…?
See, that’s cuz you ain’t Quick Reaction Force. You don’t require boots that offer a unique and purposeful option for when movement is essential…or something tactical and operatorish. These RAKKASAN rubber-soled infil/exfil…um…boots…integrate an aggressive, lace-to-toe closure system; an integrated medial side fast rope channel with high friction rubber for controlled descent; and low drop soling system to enhance performance in multiple environments. So, you just stick with your…low…friction…rubber? Yes, your low friction rubber. Do your boots have an integrated medial…side fast rope channel? What the hell is a medial side fast rope channel? I mean, where the hell would else it be? A lateral side channel?
Oh, never mind…just buy these boots. So you can…um…have a pair of boots that seem pretty much identical to all the other “tennis shoes disguised as boots.”
