SHOT Show 18 – Austrialpin

Austrialpin has several new buckles.

There’s the new COBRA frame with quick release thumb tab as well as a selection of premium quality aluminum 7075 D rings, O rings, and triglides.

Additionally, they showed us AB investment casted, Stainless Steel COBRA buckle with integrated Dring. Designed and developed for the Fire Protection (SCBA) and Offshore industries it is a UL certified and fully NFPA / CSA / ANSI compliant.

    I would love to see a Cobra buckle with a D ring on each of the buckle components. I wonder if there’s a wider market interest besides me?

      I would guess there isn’t such a dual D ring design because the D ring is most desirable for the side that interfaces with sewn-in webbing (and therefore more secure).
