Max Talk Monday: The RAID: Texas Class 2019

This is the thirteenth installment of ‘Max Talk Monday’ which shares select episodes from a series of instructional videos. Max Velocity Tactical (MVT) has established a reputation on the leading edge of tactical live fire and force on force training. MVT is dedicated to developing and training tactical excellence at the individual and team level.

Max Talk: The RAID  is video footage of the RAID drill at the Texas Class 2019. This was a squad level (2 x fire team) live fire training exercise against a simulated enemy encampment / patrol base. It formed part of the ‘Attack Day’ which included hasty attack and raid simulated live fire scenarios.

  1. Patrick Aherne says:

Can you guys come to the SF Bay Area? We’ve got a bunch of hobo encampments that your tactics would be perfect for cleaning up. All of those low misses and grabbing the magwell like an MP-5 might not work out so well, though. These hobos are pretty arrogant and pugnacious.

    • Brando says:

      Seriously? Do it yourself, chickenshit.

      • Patrick Aherne says:

I thought I was an armchair quarterback, not a chickenshit. In any case, those hobos are too tough for little old me. I’m going to cry now and drink a soy latte.

  2. HK says:

    Well done!

  3. t says:

Not entirely sure what I just watched…..

  4. Frog says:

    That was an abortion

Is the owner even legit? Says british SOF.

Then has an email like this:

    Max is a U.S. Citizen.

Max can be contacted at: maxvelocitytactical@gmail.com

    Lol….

I don’t know this guy but I do know British SOF is legit (I dare say their SOF, like their Marines, tend to be at least as good as their US counterparts).
Make the link between your statement, your colon and what you’re trying to say more sensible:
Emigration, read about it, or just try it (might i recommend Liberia or Algeria, plenty of operational opportunities for operators like yourself)
Gmail works well for an email you’re going to see on the www

    • SSD says:

Hey booboo, my personal email is yahoo. I have several friends who were born in the UK but emigrated to the US. And all of the Commonwealth Forces I have served with over the years were quite competent at their jobs.

  6. JK says:

I find it hilarious that everytime SSD posts an MVT video that armchair commandos get on the comments and knock him down without knowing what they’re talking about. Was the squad assault perfectly executed? No, but guess what…I’ve been around awhile and ain’t never seen one executed perfectly in combat… real shit ain’t pretty..

  7. Kaos-1 says:

I wonder if this guy trains his students how to retreat when the targets start shooting back. Lol

    • Adamn says:

Yeah Kaos, watch the break contact drills he posted.

Max, if you read this – respect for taking the legal risks to train civilians in live fire tactics. I just hope you train the good guys.
