Harrisonburg, Virginia, August 9, 2019 – Bill Strang, President and CEO and Mark Good, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing of Tactical & Survival Specialties, Inc. (TSSi) announced the addition of Tom Carlson as the Director of Strategic Initiatives.
Carlson is a retired Soldier who served for 26 years, starting as an enlisted Infantryman in the 75th Ranger Regiment. He was then commissioned as an Army Aviator and served in a variety of conventional and special operations leadership, command and staff positions at tactical, operational, and strategic levels. After retiring from the Army, Carlson worked as a manager and business operations professional in the commercial airplane industry before returning to the defense industry in 2016. For the past three years, he gained an extensive and broad base of experiences working across the services in the Pacific Northwest, Western United States, and Pacific Rim.
