Eielson AFB’s 354th SFS Test Cold Weather Gear

Testing of the Army’s potential cold weather solutions is joint. Last month, Alaska’s 354th SFS partnered with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Developmental Command to try out some of the new cold weather gear also being evaluated at Fort drum in New York.

Is it just me or do those gloves look a lot like the OR extravert ski gloves? even have the pole retention loops on the middle finger. If so they’re decent down to the single digits, wool blend lining is nice, sizing runs a bit small particularly the finger diameter.
