All of the awards, medals, accolades and magazine articles mean nothing to David. That’s not why he does what he does. Although David has raised a lot of money and awareness for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, none of this recognition is relevant to him. He’s not trying to be number one in the world. He’s not interested in how many races he’s run. He doesn’t keep track of the miles he’s gone. Instead, it’s all about achieving his personal best.

I’ve started randomly yelling, “Who’s gonna carry the boats?!?!” when I’m trail running because of this guy.

  2. Marcus says:

    David is The Motivational Minotaur.

If you have trouble getting motivated after listening to him, check your pulse.

    Stay hard!

I do believe that the picture of him in really great shape was long after David’s service had ended. The picture of when David is heavy is from when he was in the US Navy. Just a thought. No matter because David really does have the passion his sit down with Joe Rogan was really good. Respectfully Submitted.

You need to do some basic research. That before photo was when he was in the Air Force and in between US Navy. I worked with him back in 2008, when he was training for the Kona Ironman. He was always in phenomenal shape his entire Navy SEAL career!

Good to hear a positive take on Mr. Goggins from people that have worked with him, unfortunately I have only heard extremely negative perceptions of his team time from fellow Seals…. maybe professional jealousy?
