For Immediate Release
Sterling, VA – Qore Performance is expanding its team with a Marketing Manager. Tyler Van Horn, an Army Veteran and native of Seattle, Washington, joins our team with a wealth of experience in pushing human performance to the limits in the most hostile environments on earth.
Tyler has a fifteen year career in Army Special Operations, with twelve deployments worldwide. He has served in the Army’s most elite units and has been decorated for valor in combat. In addition to his professional career, his personal hobbies include alpine climbing, ultralight long distance backpacking, and constantly experimenting with ways to improve performance in these fields.
When asked about why he joined Qore Performance Tyler says, “besides a high-performing and creative team, the thing that attracted me most to Qore Performance was the intersection of science and design to create simple, functional solutions to some of the most persistent environmental problems that operators, athletes, and industrial workers face. Qore Performance’s mission to transform human performance by protecting and empowering end-users in the most hostile environments on earth is something I really believe in. I’m totally stoked to be part of this team.”
As Marketing Manager, Tyler will be responsible for communicating Qore Performance’s mission to the world by working with our Brand Ambassadors and media outlets. Tyler will also work closely with our design team to provide input from his experience and the valuable feedback we receive from our customers.
Justin Li, Co-Founder and CEO of Qore Performance, says that “bringing Tyler on the team seemed a natural fit as he was eager to learn about what goes on behind the production of the types of kit he’s used his entire career. He also brings end-user experience that will be very helpful in our drive to constantly improve our design.”
Li went on to elaborate on Tyler’s role, “Tyler has already contributed significantly with the production of our ICE (IcePlate Carrier Exoskeleton) product video and a new educational resource on our IceAge Insights blog reviewing the different types of PPE cooling solutions available to our Military, First Responders and Health Care Providers. This single educational resource is incredibly important right now to help protect and preserve one of our most precious resources (First Responders and Health Care Providers) in the fight against Cornoavirus,”
As a rapidly growing company, Qore Performance is looking to further expand its team with a full time Customer Experience and Fulfillment Specialist. Click here for additional details.
