The D-Lift or Dog Lift is a super lightweight stretcher designed for working dogs. It’s constructed with our waterproof Ghost Heavy material and kevlar thread making it easy to decontaminate and clean without degrading the material and thread. It can be used with the Kodiak Releasable Dog Leash to form a carrying strap for the handler or as a hoisting strap for helicopter operations.

Being that I had to construct an emergency litter for a smaller sized GSD on a sheer cliff face, I think this is outstanding.
In my case, time was an issue, and I had to tie slings from 1″ tubular webbing, which put a lot of pressure on the dogs hips as it was raised. While the webbing was better than taking the 225-250 drop, I still feel it put too much pressure on the dogs hips and I have fear that it may have caused damage.
$150 might not be dirt cheap, but this would make a great Christmas present for any LE K9 or MIL MWD handler. Keeping one on a vest or belt may help save a GSD or Malligator.
