The Brown Micarta Rigger is the third in a series of limited release knives from Magpul. The first two models went lickety split and there’s no doubt this one will be the same.
This one shares the same CPM S35VN Modified Wharncliffe blade with the differences being cosmetic more than anything; a skeletonized titanium double-locking frame surrounded by linen Brown Micarta scales with a scalloped surface.
Limited to just 200 examples, they will be available only on November 20th at noon EST at Magpul.com.
I know they’re all committed to domestic manufacturing but I’d love to see them release this knife in the $100 price range, make it overseas. The lines on this blade are incredible and extremely attractive but $450 USD is a pretty penny for a folder I intend to carry, beat up, and inevitably lose.
Looks sharp, but Ill keep using and abusing my trusty $35 Kershaw Cryo.
Would love one, but WAY out of my budget
