Princeton Tec – FRED Headlamp

Coming in April 2021, the FRED headlamp from Princeton Tec weighs just 2.7 oz. powered by 3AAA batteries, it offers 200 lumens of dimmable light down to 30 lumens thanks to its three white LEDs. It also incorporates a single red LED for night use. Expect up to 41 hours of use.

Offered in Black, Tan, OD and MultiCam.

    I really like the Fred I used to have. Great combination of features useful to the tactical environment, like first-on red light. Durability was terrible though….didn’t last a year before the endcap broke.
