SAFRAN Optics 1 – High Resolution Thermal Viewer Series

Safran Optics 1’s High Resolution Thermal Viewer (HRTV) is a lightweight, multifunctional, long-range reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system with three viewing modes:

1 Cooled thermal

2 Color day

3 Low light level

The series includes:

LRHH-S: Integrated with a SAASM (Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module) GPS that can facilitate accurate target grids and has a dedicated crypto key fill connector

LRHH-C: Integrated with a SAASM GPS and Celestial Camera that provides precision northfinding and on-the-go targeting capabilities

HRTV-A: Integrated with Audio

    This appears to be an updated version of their LRTV, which is an absolutely awesome piece of kit, especially with integrated GPS. Just make sure you’ve got enough 5590s to run it for a while.
