Arc’teryx LEAF Sales and Distribution

We received this statement from Arc’teryx regarding the LEAF program.

Since its inception 20 years ago, Arc’teryx LEAF has built best-in-class technical apparel and equipment solutions for specialized Military, Government, and Law Enforcement (MIL-GOV-LE) end-users in select NATO and NATO-allied countries.

As a result, Arc’teryx LEAF’s products have specific technical features required for specialized military, government, and law enforcement uses and are only produced in limited quantities.

To ensure that Arc’teryx LEAF products continue to be available for these core users in the volumes and the time frames needed, Arc’teryx LEAF has established a new distribution system. As of January 21, 2023, Arc’teryx LEAF will select resellers on the basis of their ability to service government agency contracts as well as their ability to sell directly or indirectly to government purchasers, among other criteria.

With this refined strategic approach, we remain focused on delivering our products and services to our intended market. Doing so enables Arc’teryx LEAF to respond swiftly to MIL-GOV-LE demand by ensuring available supply is reserved for those who safeguard public safety and national security.

  1. Stickman says:

I had forgotten about LEAF since their core group of people left. Good to see they are seeming to be heading back to the market.

  2. Bottom Line says:

Bottom line, if you’re not mil or LE, you have until that date to buy LEAF, after that, the civilian consumer will be cut off.

  3. Giannis says:

And what exactly do they mean by that? In order for me to buy, do i have to show their resellers my id or other credentials, proving each and every time that i work for a national security authority?

  4. Frank says:

So us civilians/ former boogie rats wouldn’t be able to get them at some of our favorite on-line retailers? Did the Biden gang tell them they don’t want Americans to have more durable gear, you can’t see easily in the woods, etc.? While they’re busy arming every agency in the Federal govt. who have no real reason to threaten citizens with death. As in IRS or EPA.

  5. Slava Ukraini says:

LEAF was the discount, not necessarily the product. I saved close to 40% on a jacket purchase.

  6. Stephen Vogel says:

Beyond makes a nicer suite in my opinion anyways, so it doesn’t bother me if they don’t like us mere mortals anymore as a customer.

  7. George says:

Nothing innovative in years, since their core group of people left. I surely miss the good old days of LEAF. Everything was epic, from their product design to their catalogs, from their media interaction with the public to their promotional videos on youtube.. What happened to you guys?
