  1. Jon, OPT says:

    Pointlessly infringing since 1972

  2. James says:

Now if that doesn’t tell a tale…they don’t give a crap about some turd shooting up a bar, or concert, or quick-mart, but you’re not gonna take an FOF training class. Also suggest everyone read the 5th circuit opinion on braces and STOCKS. Should tell what everyone knew-the only people that use them are people concerned about accuracy, criminals don’t like them because they’re harder to conceal than just a buffer or endplate.

    • Yawnz says:

Keep in mind that said “opinion” only resulted in an injunction for the plaintiffs. It wasn’t a nationwide ruling.

  3. Raul says:

Now we can’t have well trained, safe, responsible gun owners can we.

  4. Ray Forest says:

2nd significant ATF importation denial I’ve heard about in a week.

  5. Joe says:

No matter, airsoft is cheaper and safer. It’s what CA, MP, and SF use here at JBLM. It’s not just cosplay anymore.

  6. Just Brad says:

Companies like UTM and others need to stop selling to ATF and other infringing agencies. The quickest results will come when they have their supply of firearms, ammunition, body armor and LE equipment shut off and they can’t perform their perceived mission.

    • Yawnz says:

That’s a good way to have all of those companies nationalized, then we’re all screwed.

  7. Nate says:

They did this for one of the other major marking rounds last year, except they aren’t even letting state and local LE buy it anymore; federal customers only.

It is apparently ONE attorney at ATF who is a senior political appointee and cannot be over ruled by anyone with common sense.

The answer is that more companies need to start making this type of training ammo in the US.

  8. jukk0u says:

Have to save that production capacity ‘cuz 87,000 new IRS agents will need to be trained up.

  9. Bob says:

I’m surprised the ATF hasen’t changes the “Rules” for ROCK, Paper Scissors for peoples safety. Those items can be harnfull, LOL

  10. Jeembo says:

Ah yes, I love that this specifically targets TRAINING ammunition… Can buy real deal all you want, but training? Hell no! At least there are some at Gritr’s Shoot house ( https://range.gritrsports.com/shoot-house-gritr/ ) I think, since they’ve been hosting pretty good drills. Still kinda weird to reduce availability to civilians basically…
