Tactical Tuesday: Updated! S.O.C.P. Tactical Fanny Pack

The Vertx S.O.C.P. Tactical Fanny Pack offers a combination of style, functionality, and preparedness in a way that’s hard to find in other tactical fanny packs. More than a fashion statement, tactical belt bags are designed for individuals who prioritize readiness and efficiency. But why should a tactical waist bag be a staple in your gear?

Here are a couple of reasons:

Concealed Carry Excellence: Concealing a firearm can be tricky and uncomfortable, but the Vertx S.O.C.P. Fanny Pack simplifies the process with discreet compartments and lockable zippers. This pack offers a subtle solution to keep your firearm secure, concealed, and easily accessible whenever you need it.

Everyday Utility: Apart from firearm storage, a tactical waist bag is incredibly versatile for everyday use. It’s ideal for carrying essentials like your phone, wallet, keys, and other small items such as a flashlight, pepper spray, med kit, or radio. With multiple compartments and loops for organization, this pack ensures everything has its place, reducing clutter and enhancing accessibility.

The Vertx S.O.C.P. Tactical Fanny Pack stands out with other features like a secured hidden pocket for tools, concealable armor pocket for added protection, laser-cut attachment points, external cell phone pocket with touchscreen window, ambidextrous access with lockable zipper pulls, holster/magazine retention strap, and extended storage pockets in each wing.

These “tactical” man purses stand out so much, you may as well open carry. Everyone knows what they are, and they look out of place on the wearer. The dude in the pic is wearing all grey too… c’mon guys.

Whoa dude, you know this is a “gray man”…who knows what evil he fights while we sleep or what deadly skills lay under his benign dad-bod exterior!

I don’t know about the man purse thing being obvious. Sling bags and fanny packs have made a huge comeback in urban areas. Many of the civilian models have military qualities…I have never gotten a second look with mine (I carry 2 cell phones and a pager for work so I cant fit it all in my pockets). I carry mine like a sling bag…fanny packs don’t mesh well with appendix carry.

I do agree that while most guys that follow Soldier Systems could spot the “tactical” sling/fanny models pretty quickly….civilians probably couldnt ID them.

You realize how oblivious most people walking around are? Go to an urban area and watch how many people walking out in traffic or out in front of buses. The vast majority of people are so buried in cell phones they have zero situational awareness.

My wife has zero idea of what magpul is or BCM or most other companies, the same can be said for her family and the people in my church. I think you are giving the public way to much credit.

Carrying all of you stuff in a fanny pack can draw attention away from your real method of carry. the bag is still useful for many things including carrying a weapon.
