    This is exactly what I was talking about with the use of Garmin watches and new PNT GPS. Wearables are better than handhelds (at least for majority of Soldiers). Instead the handhelds (phones / tablets) will likely be moved up to squad leaders and above. This will lighten the load for soldiers and give better situational awareness.

    Next step is eventual integration into helmet like in the Anduril Eagle Eye (or something like it) and watch serving as either back up or to offload some weight and computing power off the head borne system.

      Wrist computer / smartwatch are the future for dismounted soldier, providing the essential situationnal awareness. Maybe one day we will interact with Anduril Eagle Eye ! 🙂
